The Wenlock Edge escarpment has inspired artists and writers for centuries, including A.E. Houseman and Vaughan Williams for its beauty and history. Walk or ride straight up onto the Edge and explore miles of unspoilt countryside.  Visit the Roman city of Wroxeter, Thomas Telford's  Ironbridge, the historic working farm at Acton Scott, Wenock Abbey and various local National Trust houses. There are a number of pubs and restaurants in nearby Much Wenlock.
